SCHOOL YAR OPENING PARTY 6 September, Saturday 8pm
THE CORRIDORS: The band was founded in 2007 by Bence Fűzfa and Zsolt Karácsony, former guitar-players of Code101. After some changes in the band last yar, by this spring the band's members have been found stable, Szabolcs Árky seems to be the right choice of bass guitar-player. They recorded a new demo in the summer holiday and managed to tour a little with it as well.
S.O.S. The band was formed by high school students from Győr almost three years ago. Their music got more colorful with the help of using different instruments from the typical rock music, impressions from electronic and other music styles, they make a clever mix of experimental initiations with danceable, pulsating rhythms.

Representatives of MEDIAWAVE (Péter Pusker - music program organizer, Péter Szabó -leader of the photo workshop, Csaba Mészáros - ethnographer and Jenő Hartyándi - Festival director) went to Siberia today, where they are going to hold a film and photo workshop in Novosibirsk, a city about 5000 km far away from here, within the framework of "Meetings in Siberia" International Documentary Film Festival, in co-operation with CINEMA GARRET Workshop, for about 50 university students of film and photography. After the workshop, members of the staff will become members of a film producing crew and will travel 600 km farther to the Altai region, to make a documentary film about the culture of this "blank space" of the world, with the guidance of ARTEM, a throat-singer, who was introduced and became popular in the Festival this year. If you are interested, here you can find the films made in the workshop held last year in Siberia and the diary from Siberia from last year. Also, you can watch a film about the Artem trio, more precisely about their tour in Slovakia and Poland within MEDIAWAVE Festival. Jenő Hartyándi's latest, most actual blog is published on kisalfold.hu. We hope you can find there the newest diary notes and photos made there day after day.
