Belated youth, civil and cultural movements in Hungary
"I dealt a lot with the social role of 1968 at the beginning of the year. We organized MEDIAWAVE Festival'2008 in memory of the 40th anniversary of it, that's why I searced for it a lot. Then I was only a 12 year-old boy dropped into the waves of the events, and could see only the long rows of planes and choppers following each other through Hungary to Czechoslovakia..." kisalfold.hu /Hartyándi Jenő/ (you can watch the archive film conncecting to the note - Kisörspuszta - by clicking here!)

Radu Igazság, a professor at Bucharest Fine Art University, a teacher at MEDIAWAVE Film and Photo Camp for years, inspired by his experiences in the camp in Ravazd last year, drew a world map of the Middle-Ages for us. Of course, the centre of the world in his map is Ravazd. For many of us Ravazd will be really the centre of the world for the folllowing 9 days, at least for the film, photo and music camp's participants definitely. If anyone else would like to see the centre of the world, visit us there, because he/she can experience a lot, for example he/she can breathe in some fresh country-side air and natural moods...

Our collegues, Andrea BÍRÓ (director-reporter), Péter DÖMÖTÖR (camera-man) and Mihály DOMONKKOS (editor) made many portraits of artists during MEDIAWAVE Festival. These portraits shows „civil” moments of the artists, moments of the fitting of the concerts or just record rememberance. All of these records will be published as a mood-film of the festival, but we want to show some parts which won’t be edited into the final film. But now let The films speaking instead of words.
