In the attic of the mill a very atmospheric and useful conference took place for international and Hungarian festival organizers, with the participation of English, French, Belgian, Italian, Austrian and Slovenian presenters with the title "Growing or educating" on the new European methods of gaining audiences.

A photo exhibition of Béla Kása, "Transsylvanian musicians and travellers" supported an excellent backdrop, as well as a collection rediscovered by Péter Nagy done by great figures of folklore movement in Pápateszér. To illustrate how it all fit together smoothly, Éva Héra, president of Folklore Festival Association was touched to discover that she was also present at the ethnographic visit.

Culinary delights were offered by the local langalló-baker, but even more by Yasim, a kurdish chef from East-Turkey and Gábor Deésy. After a long pause, a "public hanging" took place again on behalf of Kajárpéci Vízirevü (Watershow of Kajárpéc), along with many other programmes. The small bits and pieces were as important as the bigger productions, because the essence of MEDIAWAVE's countryside weekend hid in the layers of intimate details. Those who were there could experience this. Next year there will be another opportunity, with a hopefully more graceful weather, so that Bata Rita, the Grencsó Collective and the Romungro Fiúk will be able to play on the triborder hilltop instead of the mill.
