I also like swapping. This is what I wanted to work out: I asked for festival pass, accomodation and meal for myself and my kids in exchange for my perfomance and exhibition. I don't have any problem with cash flow either, I just thought that what I would spend anyway, it doesn't need to be documented. It happened almost like that, except for the food, but it is okay.

I regret that my project mates didn't get involved into this inspiring community. Partly due to bad weather (where can I protest??)

It was nice to experience that I am able to make up community stuff although it's not my nature: I am a lonely artist. But I tried beacuse of your encouragement and I liked it. And so did the others (I mean the exhibition-lyrics-music with Réka Somogyi)

More about the concerts: It was good, I think we opened the concert series this year so there weren't too many people but it was nice to see you among the audience. Perhaps the concert host could have told a few words to introduce the bands before the concerts. Thus I felt a bit neglected, especially in case of the exhibition. Attila managed the concert well, but I myself recruited the audience for the concert and tried to tell an introduction. We weren't an old band so we would have needed some support. I found a musician, Ádám Mózer, for the opening; this is one of the festival's strong points that it gives space to such eventualities (!!! I would stress this, I can't see such things at many places!!!)

It is also in favour of the meetings that we are closed together in the Fortress and who you party together with at night, you can see him/her staggering for coffee in the morning.

More facts..: this year's very good surprises to me were: Hamid, Hamid, Hamid!, Ujj Zsuzsi concert, Tudósok, Vatafaka, wandering photographer equipments,
and whom I had known and waited for: Tóth Viktor and the CityBumBum, BataRita,... and many others...
 

I am not thrilled with the wedding...:) but it doesn't hurt me either, if the others like it...

And an other unexpected performance: hereby I'm leaving a message to Csobán: in the sleeping room (and then in the outside rooms) I wished him to hell because of his free jazz solo performed at 4 a.m. but it sounded so nice as he was walking and playing in the empty rooms that he would make a similar performance next year - in the daytime.

All in all I felt that Mediawave deliberately and undeliberately is going towards what you've just aimed: it's not a service but creative people's place for inspiration. I sometimes felt that we were each other's audience; today I'm listening to you and tomorrow you'll come round to see me...

...and one more important detail:

I admire such bands like Taraf deAkácfa, who has enought energy to make people dance in front of the toilet early in the morning...

I also had some free energy left and next time I would like to participate as a fine artist in a spontaneous performance - e.g. making projected pictures for some music workshop or decorating a performance, etc.
