We have only one planet to live on!

One - quarter of the population of Earth uses three-quarters of its resources. Because of the climate change, even getting drinking water is an actually existing problem in vast parts of Earth.

We have to share the one and only planet to live on!

According to the latest Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) published in October, 2008, 24% of mammal species, 12% of birds, 25% of reptiles, 20% of amphibian species, and 30% of fish species face extinction crisis as a results of climate change.

In the framework of MEDIAWAVE’2009, environmental NGOs are announcing a call for entry of those stationary and moblie, audiovisual or visual creations dealing with the environmental and social effects of climate change.
